Vinyl Application Tips & Tricks
Helpful hints that will help you apply your vinyl without issues
1) Always make sure the surface you are applying the vinyl to will accept the vinyl, for example glass, painted wood, coroplast, banner material, sheet metal. Surfaces that are textured, such as wood, or stucco, etc. will not allow vinyl to stick.
2) Make sure te surface you are applying the vinyl to is clean. If there is any dust, dirt, or grime, under te vinyl, it will not stick.
3) Sometime Vinyl after it is cut, weeded, and taped has a tendency to stick to the paper backing when you try to remove it. You can do a couple different things if this happens. First when you first start seeing the vinyl sticking to te letters, carefully rub it back down onto the paper creating a better grip on the tape. If this does not work, you will have to get a sharp hobby knife, and carefully pull off the excess paper on the letters, taking care not to damage the actual vinyl. Most people panic when this happens, and end up throwing vinyl away because this happens, which is a waste of material and money.
